Forged-body through-conduit gate valve for high-pressure crude, product and gas lines. Forged body means fewer and smaller internal defects than a casting, which is why this pattern is chosen above Class 900. The gate retracts fully into the bonnet and leaves an unobstructed bore for pigging; single-plate and double-plate versions, with a diversion hole on the double-plate pattern. Body in forged carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex or nickel-base alloy.
