DIN 3352 F4 face-to-face with a non-rising stem: the European length and the buried installation in one valve. GGG40/50 ductile iron, fusion-bonded epoxy inside and out, EPDM-encapsulated wedge for bubble-tight shut-off on clean water, PN10/16, DN50–DN600. It is the valve that replaces the old metal-seated gate on a potable main: the rubber wedge seals against grit that would score a metal seat, at the cost of a temperature ceiling — above about 70 °C in continuous service the EPDM is the limit, and the answer is the metal-seated F4.
