The wafer butterfly is the cheapest way to isolate a line that does not need a gate valve: short face-to-face, four bolts through the body into the flange studs, a lever that locks in the open or shut position. EPDM seat, stainless disc, DN100 at PN10/PN16 — a valve for on/off service on water and HVAC, not for throttling. Held half open, the disc sits in the flow and the seat erodes at the edge; and a wafer body pulled between two flanges leaks at the joint if the line is under vacuum or the flanges are not flat. For throttling, take a different valve.
