The magnetic-lock version replaces the keyed head with a coded magnetic clutch: the bonnet opens only when the matching magnet is placed on it, so there is no keyhole to pick, no triangle to copy and nothing to drill. Brass or ductile-iron body, DN20–DN100, fitted at consumer branches where tampering has been a problem rather than everywhere on principle. The trade is service: only the utility's coded tool works, so a lost or failed tool means the whole estate waits — keep two.
