Double casing structure with a high-efficiency hydraulic end: energy efficient, low noise, low vibration, stable performance and a long service life. The liner and impeller are available in wear-resistant metal or rubber to suit the duty — metal where impact and coarse solids dominate, rubber where the solids are fine and the abrasion is sliding. The range covers mining, shield tunnelling and metallurgy, and the KSM build sits between the light and heavy slurry pumps for medium-concentration slurry. Outlet DN20–DN650, flow 10–14,000 m³/h, head 10–70 m. Models are assembled from a standard hydraulic end and a bearing frame selected for the duty, so spares stay interchangeable across the size range.

A double casing splits the job between pressure and wear
The outer casing carries the pressure; the inner liner takes the wear. That is the reason a double-casing slurry pump can be rebuilt on site instead of being replaced: the worn liner and impeller come out and the pressure boundary stays where it is.
Liner and impeller are offered in wear-resistant metal or rubber. Metal suits coarse, high-impact solids; rubber suits fine, sliding abrasion where a metal liner would polish through. The choice is made per duty, not per model, and it is the first question that decides the rest of the selection.
Where KSH and KSM sit against each other
KSM is the build between the light and heavy slurry pumps, for medium-concentration slurry. KSH is the heavier of the two and is applied to mining, shield tunnelling and metallurgical duty.
In practice the split is made on solids concentration and particle size, and then checked against the duty point on the curve. A pump chosen on the low side of the range will run off its best efficiency point and wear faster than the liner choice suggests.
