Double casing structure selected for medium and high head duty: high head, high efficiency, good wear resistance, stable performance and good cavitation behaviour. The pressure is carried by the outer casing and the wear by the replaceable inner liner, which is why this build holds up where a single casing would distort under head. Wetted parts are hard metal. Outlet DN50–DN300, flow 20–1,800 m³/h, head 20–120 m. Typical installations are metallurgical plants, mines, coal preparation and power station ash handling.

Double casing where the head is the problem, not the tonnage
ZGB pairs a double casing with a medium-to-high head duty: high head, high efficiency, good wear resistance and good cavitation behaviour. The outer casing carries the pressure and the replaceable inner liner carries the wear, which is what keeps the pump in shape where a single casing would distort under head.
The application list is metallurgy, mining, coal and power, at medium and high head. Compared with the cantilevered high-head series, ZGB is the double-casing answer; where a train of pumps is needed to reach the head, the cantilevered series installed in series is the other route.
