Heavy-duty slurry pump for dense, highly abrasive slurry, with an optimised wetted-part design and fully interchangeable spares. The impeller-to-wear-plate gap is adjustable in service, so efficiency is restored by re-setting the gap instead of replacing the hydraulic end, and bearing temperature detection is fitted as standard to catch a failing bearing before it takes the shaft out. Outlet DN40–DN300 per model, flow 4–2,550 m³/h, head 9–135 m, medium temperature −20 to 120 °C, oil lubrication. Model designation reads diameter + ZG or ZD + head + speed, for example 200ZG-750-980; ZD builds are the slower, high-torque variant for coarse solids. Typical duty is mill discharge, dense-medium coal washing, tailings and metallurgical slurry where the operating point sits above the standard slurry-pump range.

The head band between standard and high-head slurry pumps
This series covers a head band that a standard slurry pump does not reach: the published range runs to 135 m at flows up to 2,550 m³/h, with the medium at −20 to 120 °C. It is applied to dense, highly abrasive slurry where the operating point sits high on the curve.
Lubrication is oil (thin oil) and bearing temperature detection is fitted, so a failing bearing is caught before it takes the shaft out.
The wear gap is adjustable in service
The clearance between impeller and wear plate is adjustable, so efficiency is restored by re-setting the gap rather than by replacing the hydraulic end. Wetted parts are interchangeable across the range, which is what makes a spares stock practical at a mine.
Model designation reads diameter, then the ZG or ZD build, then head and speed — for example 200ZG-750-980. The ZD builds are the slower, higher-torque variant for coarse solids.
