V-Port Ball Valve (High Pad)

Industrial valves and fittings dispatch fast — wear parts and complete machines quoted on request.

V-Port Ball Valves

V-notched segment ball valves for fibre, slurry and viscous media — flanged, high-pad, full-bore and wafer builds with near-equal-percentage control. Images are representative renderings of each series; finish, accessories and nameplate follow the confirmed drawing.

The high-platform version carries an ISO 5211 pad machined directly on the body. An actuator mounts on it without an intermediate bracket, which removes one joint from the drive train, keeps the assembly short where space is tight, and makes the valve easy to convert from manual to pneumatic on site. Internals are the same as the flanged V-port line: V-notched segment ball, circlip-type seat carrier, adjustable two-piece stem and square-shaft drive. Bodies are cast in medium-temperature wax for a clean, thin-walled casting. Sizes DN25–DN200; PN10 / PN16 (150LB on request); −29 to 220 °C; hard seat only; Class V / Class VI, uni- or bi-directional.

An ISO 5211 pad on the body removes the bracket

The high-platform version machines the actuator pad directly onto the body. The actuator bolts straight on: one less joint in the drive train, no bracket to flex, and a shorter assembly where the space around the valve is tight.

It also makes a manual-to-pneumatic conversion a matter of unbolting one operator and bolting on another, without changing the valve.

Small trim and noise trim are what this build is usually bought for

The same platform carries the small-flow trims used where the required Cv is far below the line size — additive dosing in paper making is the usual case — and the noise-reduced trim where the pressure drop would otherwise cavitate or scream.

Actuator orientation is set at order: the pad allows more than one mounting direction, and the drawing shows which one the valve will be built to.
