Self-Operated Pressure Reducing Valve (ZZY)

Industrial valves and fittings dispatch fast — wear parts and complete machines quoted on request.

Steam System Valves

Valves for steam systems rather than for water: thermodynamic steam traps and self-operated pressure reducing valves that work without electricity or compressed air. Images are representative renderings of each series; finish, accessories and nameplate follow the confirmed drawing.

A self-operated regulator uses the downstream pressure itself to move the plug: no actuator, no 4–20 mA signal, no instrument air. That makes it the right choice for steam mains, heat exchangers and plant air where a power failure must not leave the pressure uncontrolled. The spring sets the outlet pressure, the pilot or direct-acting diaphragm does the rest. Steam, water and air duty, DN15 to DN300.
