The main-steam isolation valve at a power plant or desalination unit has to hold full boiler pressure at 540 °C without wire drawing at the seat. This series uses a chrome-moly body (F22 / WC9) with a hard-faced wedge and a pressure-seal or bolted bonnet, rising stem with a clearly accessible thread, and butt-weld or flanged ends. Sizes from DN50 to DN600 for main steam, hot reheat and boiler feedwater branches.
