Fluoroplastic-lined single-stage end-suction pump for acids and mixed chemical duty: the casing is cast iron lined with F46 or PFA, the impeller is a fluoroplastic alloy, and the wetted surfaces are non-metallic — that is what lets the same pump handle sulphuric, hydrochloric and mixed acid without the metal seeing the medium. 33 models from DN25×20 to DN125×100, 2 to 220 m³/h, 17 to 127 m head, 1.1 to 75 kW at 2900 r/min, design pressure 1.6 MPa, medium −20 to 150 °C with high-temperature fluoroplastic above 100 °C. It is a clear-liquid pump: abrasive solids and dry running are what destroy the lining, not the acid.

Lined, and what that does and does not buy
What makes a lined pump work is that the acid never reaches metal. The casing carries an F46 or PFA lining, the impeller is moulded in a fluoroplastic alloy, and the only metal in the flow path is the insert behind the lining. That is why the same pump covers sulphuric, hydrochloric and mixed acid: the lining is chosen for the duty, not a different alloy for every medium.
What destroys it is not the acid but the solids and the heat. A lined pump is built for clear liquid: abrasive particles scour the lining at the cutwater and the impeller eye, and running dry overheats the lining before the mechanical seal fails. Above 100 °C the standard lining is out and the high-temperature grade has to be specified — the temperature limit belongs in the enquiry, not in the commissioning.
The six answers that fix the model
Six answers fix the model: the medium with its concentration and temperature; the flow and head at the duty point; the solids content and the largest particle, because a lined pump tolerates very little of either; whether the pump runs under suction lift or from a flooded suction, which decides between the plain centrifugal and the self-priming build; the seal arrangement — single mechanical seal, double seal or magnetic drive where leakage of the medium is not acceptable; and the motor, standard or explosion-proof, with the voltage and frequency on site.
Send those and the model, the lining grade and the seal come back as one answer. Quoting from the flow range alone is how a line ends up with a pump that handles the acid perfectly and loses its lining to the solids in a month.
