Lined Valves

Fluoropolymer- and rubber-lined valves for acid, alkali and corrosive service — gate, globe, butterfly, diaphragm, check and Y-strainer, DN15 to DN1200 at PN0.6–1.6 MPa. The lining is the working surface: it suits corrosive media but not abrasive slurry, and it is the part that fails if the valve is throttled or run dry. Lining grade (PTFE, FEP or PFA) and body material are confirmed per order.

Two-piece flanged ball valve built for on/off isolation of strongly corrosive media. The carbon-steel body is precision cast and a fluoropolymer lining covers the ball and every wetted part, so the medium only ever meets the lining. Sizes DN20 to DN150 at PN1.0–1.6 MPa, medium −20 to 120 °C, floating full-bore ball with a lever handle. In the model code Q41F, Q is the ball valve, 4 the flanged connection, 1 the floating full-bore type, F the fluoropolymer lining, 10 the nominal pressure of 1.0 MPa and C the carbon-steel body. It is an isolation valve: it opens or closes the line and is not meant for throttling, and the lining is what fails first if the valve is used on abrasive slurry or run dry. The lining grade (PTFE, FEP or PFA) is confirmed per order.
