A check valve with a welded body has one advantage over every other build: there is no stem packing to leak to atmosphere. The piston lift disc rises off its seat on forward flow and drops back on reverse, so it suits lines where backflow would damage a pump, a meter or a boiler feed line. The lift type is the compact choice for small-bore high-pressure work — it needs less room than a swing check and can sit in any orientation. Forged A105 body, bolted bonnet, socket-weld or threaded ends; a ball-disc variant is available on request.
